Who receives information?
We share only what is needed with the artist or service provider fulfilling your order, payment and payout providers, delivery partners, hosting and communications suppliers, professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it. Artists receive fulfilment information but not your payment-card details.
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active; order, payment and tax records for up to seven years; routine service conversations for up to three years; and security logs only as long as reasonably needed to protect the service. Unsuccessful or withdrawn artist applications and their private review photographs are normally deleted within 24 months. Successful applications become part of the seller operating record. We may retain a smaller record where needed for legal claims, fraud prevention, suppression of unwanted marketing or product-safety duties.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email us with the subject “Privacy request”; we may need to verify your identity.
Your right to object: you may object at any time to direct marketing and, in some cases, processing based on legitimate interests.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children and automated decisions
Children under 13 should not create an account or provide personal information without a parent or guardian. Nail Passport suggestions and marketplace recommendations help you choose; they do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
